Full time Orthodontic Dental Assistant with consistent hours and great benefits!

The Orthodontic Dental Assistant will be providing support in our Northgate Specialty, with potential travel to Bellingham. Mileage and per diem provided for any travel to Bellingham.

Job Responsibilities

The orthodontic dental assistant prepares and maintains instruments, equipment, and materials for all dental procedures, while ensuring our patients are as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Working under the supervision of the Orthodontist, the dental assistant performs all aspects of orthodontic dental assisting within the scope outlined by his/her state’s dental practice act including adjustments, bandings, invisalign application, and taking orthodontic records. The dental assistant must be proficient in general dentistry skills, and preferably have some orthodontic assisting experience. The dental assistant must have excellent communication skills, work well in a team, be able to council our patients in postoperative care and general oral health, as well as demonstrate an understanding of evidence based dentistry.

Active Washington dental assistant registration required.
